EcoDesign3D Return Policy

At EcoDesign3D, every product is 3D printed to order using sustainable materials. Because of the custom nature of our production process, we handle returns a little differently to minimise waste and ensure a fair experience for all our customers.

1. Made-to-Order Products

Each item is individually 3D printed upon order. As such, we are unable to accept returns or issue refunds for change of mind, colour preference, or minor variations in texture or finish. These natural differences are part of the unique charm of 3D-printed, made-to-order products.

2. Faulty or Damaged Items

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 14 days of delivery at [insert email address] with:

  • Your order number

  • A description of the issue

  • Clear photographs showing the problem

Once reviewed, we will either:

  • Send a replacement, or

  • Issue a refund if a replacement is not suitable

We may ask you to return the item for inspection before processing the replacement or refund.

3. Returns Process

If a return is approved:

  • Items must be unused, unmodified, and in their original packaging.

  • We will provide return instructions by email.

  • Return postage costs are covered by the customer unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

Please ensure items are securely packaged to avoid damage in transit.

4. Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
Approved refunds will be processed within 5–10 business days via your original payment method.

5. Cancellations

Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase. After that time, your item will have entered production and cannot be cancelled as materials will have already been used.

6. Sustainability Commitment

Because each product is made-to-order, returning items that are not defective often leads to unnecessary waste. We kindly encourage customers to check measurements, colours, and styles carefully before ordering to help us reduce our environmental footprint.
